raja87
Hi, Greetings!! Currently I have valid H1B visa and I-94 that expires on 01-23-2018. I applied for extension during October'2017 which was denied last week(12/20/2017) after RFE. I have been in US for around 3 years and this is my first H1B extension. I have not received the denial notice yet. Please let me know if it is good to apply new H1B extension through a new employer? Also let me know other options available to extend the stay. Thank you!! The Other Guy
Yes. You can file a new H1B transfer from a different employer. What was the RFE about ? What is the denial reason ? Was your petition for a software engineer job, but with a non computer science academics background ? Link to comment
raja87
Hi, I am graduated with Bachelors of Information Technology (B-Tech). RFE was about, 1.Employer-Employee relationship : For this, I submitted weekly status report , Performance Evaluation and Time sheet. I have 2 vendors. 2.Specialty Occupation. I have recently received the denial notice that has again asked for Employer-Employee relationship and Specialty Occupation. USCIS didn't accept Employer-Employee relationship as I have 2 middle vendors. Also questioning more about Specialty Occupation though I gave detailed roles and responsibilities. Link to comment
