PERM Processing in Progress and I94 Expired

Hi,

My employer has filed my PERM in September 2017, during my 6th year of H1B. My I94 was expiring at end of Nov and I moved back to India during the first week of Nov. My questions:

• I hope my moving back to India does not impact the PERM processing in anyways. Please confirm.
• Is there an option to file any other visa (L1/B1) while my PERM is being processed?

Request you to please advise on the above.

--> Does not affect your PERM.

--> Yes, you will be able to. However, I would not recommend doing it because it would raise some flags that you will need to answer or support during I140 process. If the RFE is raised during that time, be prepared to provide supporting documentation, timely need and intention to change status initiated by employer or business and not by yourself.
