r9871
Hi I completed my master here and started working on OPT(end date was June 2017). I have applied for STEM OPT EXTENSION and it got approved (STEM OPT end date June 2019) Meanwhile in April 2017, My employer filed my H1B and my H1B got approved in mid may 2017. I was in a cap gap from July to September 30th and my status changed to H1B effective October 1st 2017.Therefore my SEVIS record has completed automatically and my university asked me to submit final STEM OPT evaluation (i-983 pg 5) and I have submitted it. On 30th October my employer informed me that they have received "Intended to Revoke Notice" on my H1B on October 20th . My employer told that chances of clearing this is very low as they received REF denials for almost all the employees. Please suggest me a way to keep up my status. Thanks. Link to comment
