hkarq Posted October 21, 2017 Report Posted October 21, 2017 Hello everyone! I have been working with my employer doing a J1 waiver for close to 15 months. Now my primary site on the contract is being shut down for renovation and will not reopen for at least one year. There is a secondary site on my contract but I only work there two times a week. My employer is now making me work at other locations that are NOT listed in my contract and are NOT on my H1b petition for 3 days/week. Would these be grounds for applying for a J1 waiver transfer if I find a new job? Thanks for your help!
