MavNex56 Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 Hi, I got a job at company A (For-profit) after I graduated in May '15. They applied for a H1B Visa for me and it got picked in the lottery and I got he H1B through them. I got a job at Company B (Non-Profit) and I'm planning on switching to Company B. Now, I have read about not being able to switch from a non-profit to a for-profit company on H1B. My question is, is it true for my case where my H1B is picked in lottery(in quota), even then I cannot switch from a non-profit Company B to a company C (for-profit) in the future if needed? Do I have to wait for the April applications and be a part of the cap and lottery again if I have to join a for profit company in the future? Just want to make sure this is not the case before I switch to company B. I really appreciate your help and thanks in advance. Thank you Regards, M
