asakchris Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 I received RFE for my I-485 application to submit supplement J form and new I-693 form since my medical was expired. I have enclosed coversheet from RFE letter, supplement J form & I-693 form, but forgot to enclose RFE letter itself. My response was delivered to USCIS on 9/11/2017. I am planning to send RFE letter with a cover letter explaining my scenario tomorrow to USCIS. Please let me know if it is fine or not. Appreciate your help.
directory0818 Posted September 13, 2017 Report Posted September 13, 2017 Be positive as you have submitted all other documents successfully. I do not see any problem here. If you feel submitting an additional letter to uscis would help your case then just go ahead.
asakchris Posted October 20, 2017 Author Report Posted October 20, 2017 Talked to attorney in murthy, he told me cover letter is good enough for USCIS to locate the file. If it really bothers, he asked me to send all documents again. So I sent all documents again along with RFE letter. My case is approved now.
