jayzee
Hello. I recently completed my master's degree in aerospace engineering. The rule says I have to find a job related to my field of study while on OPT. Does that mean I can only apply for a job in the aviation/aeronautical/aerospace industry? Although my degree is in aerospace engineering, my specialization (dynamics and control) is applicable to a lot of other engineering fields of study (mechanical, electrical etc.). In fact, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering degree programs actually have a similar specialization. Please explain what the field of study requirement actually entails. Does it depend on: the courses you've taken? the industry it is aimed for? the specialization you got? Link to comment
