Basically Under what circumstances would I lose H4 EAD once approved?

 

I got the H4EAD card valid from sep 2016 to 2019 but my H1B was also approved with start date of Oct 2016, so I was no longer on H4 visa,

if I change now my status from H1B to h4 by going out of country as that will be quick compared to 6–9 months of wait timeframe (sending petition to Service center) Can I use previously approved EAD card ? or I need to apply again.. ?

My husband is with the same employer nothing changed in his h1b petition

good question, Sammy.  I believe  your h4EAd would be still valid.  As you mentioned, you should change your status to H4 to use the old EAD.  This is my personal opinion.  it is better to confirm with an attorney.
