H1B from subsidiary & I140 from Parent- H1B Extension

Hi, 

I have H1B from a company ABC Texas LLC which expires in Sept 2018, I also complete my 6 year on H1B with this expiration.

ABC Texas LLC was acquired by XYZ Inc in Sep 2015 & changed the name of ABC Texas LLC to XYZ Texas LLC, with XYZ Inc owning XYZ Texas LLC.

The new company filed my PERM & I 140 under company name XYZ Inc & it is approved.

Now, when we file for my H1B extension will it be done under XYZ Inc or XYZ Texas LLC ?

I am checking with our lawyers, but wanted to check with forum members here if they have had similar experience? What path was taken in such scenario & if anyone have seen any issues in this scenario?
