I don't have OPT EXT because I have done my MBA, it doesn't fall under STEM. My H1B application has been picked and I got RFE. I have applied for CAP GAP from my university but they said it will only work until Oct 1st 2017. I won't be having any status after Oct 1st as my H1B is still under process. Will the CAP GAP still work? Can I still work until I get the decision from USCIS for my H1B application?
copco Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 No, cap gap will only be valid till 30th September. You will have to stop working if you don't receive your approval by then.
