Working during grace period-H1B Transfer

Hi, 

I received job offer from one company. They are ready to file my H1 transfer. But by the time they file H1 transfer, I will pass over my last day with my current employer and I will be on "60 day grace period".  Is it possible to start working for this new company with receipt number or wait for the approval notice? Because I read one article on this, and the author has written that employment is not authorized during grace period and employment is possible only after getting approval notice.

It would be really great If someone can help me on this.

@Sangeeth01 Did you get some resolution on this? I'm seeing conflicting information regarding this. Did you start working after your petition was filed, and did it get eventually approved?
