AS@H1 Posted July 6, 2017 Report Posted July 6, 2017 Hi, I was working for Company A and I got my VISA stamped in September 2015 with them and the validity of the VISA is April 26, 2018. Later I changed to Company B in 2016.Now I am planning to travel to India in the last week of July and I have my I797A with current company i.e. Company B valid till October 17, 2017. I am planning to come back to US in September mid 2017. So my questions are as below: 1. Do I need to go for Stamping for my VISA? (I read in the forum only saying that even though the Company A has revoked my H1B petition but I can still enter US with old VISA as the VISA is valid till April 2018) 2. My Company B is going to apply the extension once I return from India. So I will have 1 month left in my I797A when I will be entering in US. Does anyone at Port of Entry is going to ask me any questions related to this? Do I need to carry any other supporting documents also? Kindly help me with the answers. Rgds, Anand.
Don'tAbuseVisa's Posted July 7, 2017 Report Posted July 7, 2017 You don't have to go for stamping, along with your old company valid visa show them the original copy of your new company I797 and you are good.
