Hi, 

I am planning to file a H1B extension as my Visa is getting expired on Dec 2017. But I do have a travel plan to India on August last week and will come back on September 10, 2017. If I file an extension now with the current I94 number, will it cause any problems for my extension case?Please advice me if I should update the I94 after I come back or what should be the method in that case? Considering my employer policies, I need to file the extension now and not after September. Please advice me on this.
