H1B Extension : work from home -petition and LCA incorrect

For a friend:

i am working from home(X) for past 2 years with this company(Y) and filing for extension now , my company lawyers ( lawyers have changed for company ) have discovered that initial h1b petition was not having work from home as location but my pay stubs are all for work from home location 

 

my visa expires in oct so what are my options while filing the extension
