GC Processing while in India, after 6 years completion in US

Hi,

My Labour is filed 2 months back with USCIS and pending for the response from USCIS. My 6 years is getting over in US and will be leaving during October 1st week timeframe. I want to know some information with respect to GC Processing...

1) Will the GC Processing continue even after I leave to india?

2) After Labour/PERM gets approved, can I apply for I-140 while in India?

3) How soon should I apply the I-140 from India, after the PERM is approved? Is there any time Interval?

yes GC will continue

you should apply for an i140 as soon as your labor gets approved if you are EB2.. for EB3 better if you do but dont know how long the ait will be...

1) Can i hold off onto I-140 Filing for some time after Labour gets approved? I need to know Is there any time within which we need to apply for I-140?

2) Also, If I dont apply for I-140, what will happen? OR What should i do if I dont want to apply for I-140?

1.A) You have to apply I-140 with in 180 days of PERM approval.

2.A) you loose your priority date.
