napa
Got my H1B in 2014 CAP and started working in the same year for my employer A. Last year I got a Full Time opportunity where the employer B transferred my H1B in June 2016 which is valid till May 2019.But due to some personnel reasons, I couldn't join Employer B and continued to work with Employer A. A couple of days back, the Employer B checked with me whether I can join them (with the same H1B transferred last year) and also asked me to travel outside the country to get the visa stamped with their H1B docs. I never crossed the country from past 3yrs and no H1B stamping in my passport. Is there any mandatory policy that I need to join the Employer B with the stamped H1B Visa? Appreciate the help in advance! Link to comment
pontevecchio
Nobody is indispensable. Is getting the visa a problem? Tell B to pay for your trip back for the visa. Link to comment
codematter
If you got i94 with your transfer, i think you need not leave country and come back to be in status. Your i94 defines your status. Link to comment
