H1B Extension applied last week

Hi Guys.

My H1B extension and also H4  visa is filed under premium processing last week. I-140 is approved last year. I have received confirmation from my employer attorney that the documents for H1B extension had been mailed to USCIS and received on Friday 3/24/17 by FedEX tracking number. My H1B of first 3 years is valid till May-5-2017,

I would like to know the possibility my case is considered before the start of suspension for premium processing on APR-3-2017. Since i work in Bellevue WA state it would be USCIS California service center. Will I able to work for new project on contract during the H1B extension in progress with the receipt i receive considering my current project will end in APR-30-2017 and  what would be the scenario if i wouldn't receive the H1B receipt before Apr-2017.

It's very similar to my case. Are you still waiting for approval? If not, what's your receipt date?
