Fee returned, if H1B application is not picked

Hi,

In case H1B application is not picked in lottery, can anyone please let me know what costs are incurred to applicant, besides attorney fee for evaluating application documents.  Are base filing fee, fraud protection fee also returned along with immigration fee, to the applicant.

For example, if total application fee is 3500$, and 700$ is paid to attorney for documents evaluation, will all the remaining amount 2800$ be returned by USCIS, if it's not picked.

There are no costs for the applicant.

The employer has to pay for the application. Stay away from any employer who wants you to pay. It is illegal. Such employers are frauds.

it seems you paid for you h1b, which is illegal.
