B1/B2 visa approved but then now in administrative processing

Hi. I was interviewed last Feb 5 and the officer took my passport and told me to wait for 5-7 days. It's been more than 10 days but I didn't hear from them. I check the visa status via online but still in administrative processing. I don't know why it's taking so long. I am now worried. Not sure it's because I'm in Kuwait which is in Middle East?
