12 months OPT field of work

Hello,

 I have did MS in Project Management and working currently in 12 months OPT employed as project lead, managing projects.

I want to know if I can work as software developer if i'm interested or should I work only in management?

Also, If i want to apply for H1b this year, can i apply the visa with the role software developer filing under MS quota?

Please advice.

You can only work in your field of study, which is Project Management.
