H1-b visa status if citizenship is changed

Hello,

I've H1B approved on an Indian passport.  I'll soon get an Australian citizenship.  I've still not got the stamping done for my H1-B.  If I change my citizenship, would the H1-B hold good or it would become void?

Can I go for the stamping now (on Indian passport) and then go in for an amendment later?

Any help / guidance in this regard would be of great help.

The H1 is not tied to citizenship. Your H1 stays valid. You would have to get a new visa in the new passport.

Hi Adarsh can you pls update your status..if they allowed you to travel on canxld indian passport with valid visa or had to get new..
