Naveen09
I am working for an American company A for last 2 years as a full time empoyee. I have been running into a situation where my employer is going to file bankruptcy under chapter 11. My question is how is it going to affect H1B employees. I read on couple of forums that in general chapter 11 bankruptcy is reorganization and company will continue to be in business. They can do some layoff's but most of the operations will continue to work as is. But my question is specially related to H1B employees. Are all the H1B employees will be laid off or there is some hope that H1B employee also can stay and work like other citizen employees ? Link to comment
