mi30
I've been charged with NJ DUI/DWI & Refusal in Oct. It is treated as a traffic offense as per NJ law. I started my H1b in October and I plan to go to India next year in Feb. for H1B stamping. I've hired a good lawyer. The case is still pending and I'm determined to go to the trial to fight. In this situation, what's the impact of this case on H1B stamping? How long should I plan my India trip to account for additional processing? Any known complications? Do I need any letter from the court? Thanks. Edited December 29, 2016 by mi30 Quote Link to comment
R V
If the case is pending, do not travel outside US. If you do, you must carry final disposition of court. Personally I would avoid leaving US for as long as possible. Quote Link to comment
