phanivinod007 Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 I got a 221g on 11Oct16. I got a request to mail my passport on 02Nov16 and they received on 04Nov16, I still haven't heard from them, anybody knows how long it takes for them to process it once the passport is requested?

I got the 221G from the Montreal embassy on 24 April 2017, and was asked to mail my passport on 23 May 2017. I still haven't heard back from them yet (02 June 2017). When did you end up getting your visa and passport back? Any information you can provide would be useful. As you know, the wait is very frustrating, especially without knowing from them how much longer it could take.
