H1B RFE time line

Hi All,

Please help me to know what is the time line to process the RFE.  Am working for the reputed MNC and i got through the H1B lottery in May-2016.  I received RFE, submitted and it got received by USCIS on August 9 2016 and California center has started working on it again.  Later to me bunch more people got the RFE and submitted to same California Center.  But as of now i have not received any update till but only few  people who submitted later to me got there approval.

RFE process :  is it like they will work First in First out or it shuffled.

 

 

Please share your valid thoughts as am very much worried.  one more day left for 90days SLA..... :(

This is going to to depend on your specific case. The best thing you can do is submit your response as soon as possible. I've seen RFEs resolved in a couple weeks and others that have taken more than a year. My personal experience is the average is around 4-7 months.
