H4 EAD - Continue with H1B employer

Hi,

I have H1B with employer A valid till 2019. I applied for H4 and H4EAD simultaneously and I got the approval for both. I'm waiting for H4EAD approval notice in mail. At this time, can I use the EAD approval from USCIS website and continue working with employer A with no gap?

Yes. You can since it is already approved.

The law requires a person have an actual EAD Card to present as evidence of employment authorization, not an I-797 approval notice. This is why, one would actually have to file an I-765 for a replacement EAD Card if one got the approval notice but not the card.
