H4 EAD while H1 (Approved 140) is out of US

Hi,

Could you please help answering the below question.

I am on H1 with approved 140 and and I would be applying for my H1 extension in few days and assuming I get 2+ years extension.

I may need to travel to India next year and need to stay there for few months due to work requirements. 

Can my wife be on H4 EAD and continue to work here while I am out? How long will she be able to work, are there any restrictions, Please let me know, Thanks.

Your wife can work while you are out. No issues. She can work as long as the EAD is valid.
