Refusal to take breath test

Hi experts,

i am on h1b since last 6 years, on July 1st I was arrested for dui and convicted for refusal to take breath test. Please can anyone knows cosequences of this conviction immigration stand point? I am planning to visit India somewhere in 2017. What documents I shall carry? As per immi attorney refusal is not Cimt but I have to go through penal physician examination. 

Please share your openion if u have been in this kind of situation ever or heard of something similar.
