Came to US in L1B- Employer A- Mar 2010 Got H1B - Employer B- Oct 2013 Got I140 Approved- Sep 2015 Got H1B Extension in June 2013- Valid upto 2016 Now planning for Change in Employer . Hoping to be employee of C starting Sep 2016. I believe my employer B would revoke my i140 once i leave . In that case i just have H1B valid which was approved based on i140. Can I travel to India without my new employer having my 140 Approved? If i go is there any chance of having H1B Invalidated as i dont have an approved i140? Appreciate your expert opinion. How many years of Visa will i get when i change my Employer.( I have the approved I-140 petition and Alien number) 2. Usually I-140 approved, people used to get 3 years of Visa.
