Perm Application is approved and What should be next step

Dear All,

 

We filed the PERM on May-2016 and its approved on July 2016.

 

I have first term of H1B is going on and still have 1 year to go and after that i still can apply for another 3 years incase if its required.

 

However i have below doubt.

 

1) Since my Perm is approved, so do i still need to apply for H1B next year or it will be automatically renewed?

 

2) And after Perm, now we will file I-140 ?

You won't get H1 ext automatically, employer has to file it before your current H1 expires. After PERM approval, employer has to file your I140.
