I485 approval for EB3 to EB2 porting when PD is current

Hello,

Apologize if this has been discussed/answered earlier.

Does anybody know how long it takes for I-485 approval when you are porting from EB3 to EB2 & when the priority date is current?

Here is the summary of my case:-

EB3 PD:- 2005 (I140 approved)

EB2 PD:- 2011 (I140 approved for EB2 as well)

Requested I485 to point to EB2 & port the PD three weeks back.

Any insight/help is greatly appreciated.

hi I am also in the same case, waited for a month, made a enquiry, lawyers said that the service center will reply back before the end of may5th.

Looks like I485 processing time for TSC for Employment-based adjustment applications is Aug 11,2010.

If I am intrepreting it correctly, does it mean we need to wait for another 6-7 months?

hi belle / can u help us on we should interpret this, more than 45 days for 485 no response yet. would be great if we could get some guidance
