H4 visa stamping in India with Dropbox ; without H1 going for stamping.

Hi,

 

Background : I am on H1 and I have been working for the same employer and the same client for the last 2.5 years in the US. This after switching my job 2.5 years ago in the US. Since then, I have not traveled to India or got my passport stamped for the new employer and the new client. However, my wife(on H4) has already traveled to India during this period and has her H4 visa stamped for my new employer and for my new client. Now, she is travelling for the second time.

 

My question is : Since she already has done H4 stamping once for my new employer and new client, can she avail the dropbox facility this time around to get her visa stamped ? 

 

Reason : Due to the current wait time in visa stamping in India, we are considering if she is eligible for dropbox stamping in India.

 

Looking for some help and useful responses.
