Question on H1B Expiry Date

I have been in US since Dec'2006 and it means my 6 year H1B limit ends in Dec-2012.

I switch jobs recently in US and when the H1 Transfer was done. In my new I-797 my H1-B end date is given as Mar-2014.

My question is can continue to be in US till Mar-2014 or do I have to go back to India in Dec-2012 when my 6 year limit expires?
