Dear experts,
Long time back (15 yrs), I was ticketed for giving cigaratte to minor. Paid the fine.

Few years back I also did the fingerprint with FBI for Canada PR and result was " No arrest record".

Since it did not show in my FBI record and its been over 15 years. What is the best way to handle this situation when filing I-485. Will it shows on my record if USCIS run background check.

Please please help me.

What ever people say the final  verdict only is "You have to mention Truth" no matter what if you don't mention about that, later if they identifies even after you becoming citizen. then they have all rights to revoke.

What is the best way to self check my own records before apply for GC so that I provide the correct information to USCIS.

There are name check, background check and name check. Can I do something on my own.

You can do livescan by giving fingerprints to DOJ and FBI

I did FBI fingerprint and it says " No arrest found" is this means there is no record of me. I don't know how detail FBI do the search.

Ok then you are good no arrest record

Even if things don't show up anymore with the FBI, or are sealed, USCIS can see everything.

So, be truthful on the form. It is unlikely to cause issues.

Did Canada know your arrest when you apply for PR?

 

I am in a similar situation. Get arrested for dismissed Disorderly conduct but FBI background check reveals nothing. Should I mention to Canada PR application?
