140 Approved but employer not sharing approval copy to file 485

I have my I-140 Approved. my employer is not sharing the 140 approval copy or receipt number.  is there a way to get approval copy.  my priority date is current as my wife is from Nepal.

 

how to file 485 without approval copy. can I search my 140 status without receipt number.

Does the employer know that your wife is Nepal born?

The Employer petition is on your country of birth and not your wife's. How do you know that your I-140 is approved, without knowing the receipt number. If you are trusting your employers word for it, then I really doubt his credibility, given the fact that he is not even sharing the receipt number. I think he is just faking by saying that your I-140 is approved.

I would even doubt whether the employer filed I-140 at this time. Once you start from there, call up customer support here - 1-800-375-5283.

 

Probably say something like you have lost your receipt number and can you find the case status for I-140
