I fixed up the Jan -6 2016 as date of joining for next employer, but when I resigned to employer A. He is insisting to terminate my job on Dec 31 which can cause a gap of 5 (total) and 2 (work) days. (1,2,3 being holidays and 4,5 being week days). Is it okay to have such a gap ? Can it cause problems in future for GC processing ? Thanks!! Link to comment

Is this very serious issue ? after Dec 31 all 5 days are off so shouldn't it be considered like a long weekend off ? Link to comment
