Changed Employer on EAD | Is AC21 required ?

Hi 

I have EAD Card valid from 04/13/13 to 04/12/15. I am going to apply for Renewal in coming few days. During this time, i changed my employer but did not file AC21. 

Is it necessary to file AC21? If yes, please help me and let me know the format of AC21. Secondly should i send AC21 together with EAD renewal package. 

The job responsibility is same with both the employer.

AC21 does not mandate any specific format . The law firm running this forum believes in a pre-emptive letter to the USCIS advising them of your new job using AC21. Some lawyers want to wait . Get yourself a Good Lawyer and follow his take,.
