EAD pending over 180 days. Job change from Senior Financial Analyst to Accounting Manager

Hi,

 

My question is regarding changing employers as my EAD has been filed and pending over 180 days and I can invoke the AC21 portability. I am currently employed as a Senior Financial Analyst and my Labor was probably filed with a salary of about 78,000 +10% Bonus. I have been offered a job as an Accounting Manager with a base salary of $112,000 + 10% Bonus. If I accept this job, can you let me know the implications in terms of the Green card. Will it be a problem as I know they say that the job should be in the same or similar job classification. Is moving to a company thats paying substantially higher but remaining in the same - Accounting/Finance field ok? I'm worried as it's a different job title and much more money.

It will depend on your responsibilities in both professions, but overall, this does not seem like a change that would worry me much. A paid consultation will be very good in your circumstances.
