Blueracer
I am currently on AOS with EAD/ AP combo card. I am planning a trip on AP for first time but nervous because I have always travelled on my h-1b visa all the time for last 9 yrs..I am now on EAD / AP because my company refused to do 4th h-1 term extension that ended in September 2013. ( I have EAD since 2007). I was stuck for 1 month in end of 2011 while getting H-1b stamped and my case was put under background check. So finally I got the visa stamped on passport but it said " clearance recieved on so and so date"on that visa. Since then I haven't travelled outside again. My questions are, 1. Can The clearance / background check cause any issue for my re-entry on AP 2. Since my company didn't renew my h-1 which was valid till sep-2013, my I-94 also expired in September 2013. Can that cause any issue for my reentry too? 3. What all documents do I need to carry since I am traveling on AP first time. Any expert opinion is appreciated. Link to comment
