I-94 at POE by road From Toronto to Buffalo

I had question about this. hope this helps people like me.

 

I came by road from Toronto to NY. At port of entry near peace bridge , Border and customs officer gave me a new I-94 and charged me

$6 for it. Not sure why. I just didn't care and payed that money in cash and got my new I-94 with entry stampings.

 

I also checked the uscis website and it was also update with my latest entry dates.

 

Many told me they stopped issuing I-94 at the POE, but in my case it was different.

Since you do not mention the reason for your trip the question seems redundant.

A new I-94 costs $6. You didn't say anything about your trip so it isn't clear if you needed a new I-94.
