gmehra59
Hi , My question is if is possible to get GC filed under L1B catgory. I am working with same company from past years , have been to other countries. What conditions do I need to satisy...I read that managers and executives are the ones who get eligible...what is meant by executive? Is there minimum wage limit for qualiing the same. Is there a condition of me having to wait for certain period before applying a GC??? Thanks Link to comment
pontevecchio
People in L1A positions have a shot at being sponsored for a EB1 gc. For those in L1B it may mean EB2 if a willing sponsor is available. You should discuss your situation with your work Supervisor and then maybe a Lawyer. Link to comment
catx
The online information and documentation clearly spells out the qualifications and requirements for a EB1-C "multinational manager or executive". As pontevecchio posted, it is doubtful that someone who is on a L-1B visa would qualify. While there is no minimum wage limit or wait period associated with filing for permanent residency (green card) under the EB1-C preference category, simply having been to other countries does not qualify.
