Hi,

I am currently on H1. I have not applied for GC.

I have got admission into a Ivy League Uni for MBA(1Yr program). I am planning to apply for COS in April 2013, as I cannot travel to India due to personal reasons.

I have a future plan to visit India in Dec 2013, when I will be going for a F1 Stamping.

1. How risky it is to go to India and get F1 stamping, my course would be mid-way.

2. What can be the possible reasons of rejections.

3. Anyone who has done it before ?

Any pointers will help.

Regards

Varun

"1. How risky it is to go to India and get F1 stamping, my course would be mid-way.

=> If the college is accredited and you have reasons behind joining this college, course, you have sufficient funding, good reason to come back your home country; there should be no problem in getting stamping.

2. What can be the possible reasons of rejections.'

=> Even though H1b is non-immigrant visa, this could be a problem for you. H1b is an immigrant intent visa and this may insinuate to VO that you might not come back to your home country after you are done with your studies.
