r02809094
Right now Murthy sent out an email saying that EB2 Category for Indians will reach March 2007. So my question is what happens after the priority date becomes August 2007. Does that mean EB2 will become current and everyone will be able to file for I485 ? I would really appreciate a response on this one ? Link to comment
Jignesh1972
If your PD is falls before the cut off date then you are current. Let's say your PD is august 6 2008 and next month visa bulletin cut off date is August 7 2008 then you are current. But if your PD is After aug 7 2008 then you are not current. Link to comment
pontevecchio
It means that those with PD'S before August 07 will be able to adjust status to PR. Link to comment
Attorney_6
Reaching August would not mean that everyone was current. As others have said, ones priority date must be BEFORE the cut off date to be considered as current. Once we get past mid August 2007 (at some unknown future point) some of the people who have been waiting to file I-485s will get to do so. Link to comment
