The status of the case get updated in the Myvisa site only on Jan 14th, 2012 I have seen lots of approvals coming in now. :) I wish All the best who are waiting for their status. Not yet... Still Initial review... I see some approvals of Aug 30th and Sept 2nd too... and i see many applications of Aug 16th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd, 26th 29th are still in intial review.... surprising thing is i saw july applications are still in initial review Some of the approvals are done in Jan 11th & Jan 13th but update reflected on jan 17th in USCIS website... Observing from last one month USCIS website is updating approvals every friday evening though the applications are approved in prior weekdays... My receipt is on Aug 30th... will update status as soon as i receive.... When following some forums and lawfirms websites... people converting from regular to premium are getting approvals with in 3 days (depends).. say one example case i came accross jan 11th 2012 one person converted application to Premium and got approved in Jan 13th 2012 and his actual receipt date is july11th2011 after waited for 5 months....what does this indicates???? anyway guys lets hope for the best guys Link to comment

Got approval notice in mail. Got 3 year extension after my 6 yr completion. Website status: Initial Review. The website is not showing my updated status. (Not that it matters now....) My PD is current now. Assuming the dates dont retrogress atleast for 5-6 months, I wouldnt be using all the 3 yrs....hopefully. Well, A big relief after all the wait.... Receipt Date: Sept 7 2011 Type: H1b Extension Regular Processing Center : Vermont Status : Post Decision Activity Email Received on 24th Jan saying petition is approved and sent a letter on 23rd Jan.
