H1B Petitions filed by 2 employers for the same beneficiary

Two different employer registered my application in the H1B lottery and fortunately I got selected in both the case. Now both the employer wants to file the H1B petitions , so is it legal to file 2 H1B applications for the same employee.  Can USCIS keep the track of these two applications for the same employee. if both the petitions are approved , then how can I handle the visa stamping process as I have two approval.

legal but not ethical.

This will not happen, so you have to pick and proceed with one.

You can have multiple petitions applied at same time and it is legal.

You need to decide which one you will join. The other company will let USCIS know that you do not work for them and get the approved H1B petition revoked. Thats law.
