nike.yo Posted March 9, 2021 Report Share Posted March 9, 2021 Finally this week I received my Green card in hand(EB2).I had filed 485 in 2012.But unfortunately 2 weeks back my company laid off with 3 months notice period. I am still on salary till Jun 2021 and working on H1B till now.I have following questions -1)Would this lay off create any problem for this Green card (not citizenship)?2)Any RFE or query get trigger in near future?3)If yes then any suggestions about How to prevent this? pontevecchio Posted March 10, 2021 Report Share Posted March 10, 2021 Once you got the GC, the H1 status is moot. If this company filed for your GC and laid you off, you are able to look for any other employer. If they laid you off, you can certainly look elsewhere. Quote Link to comment
