Applying i485

Hi , 

I am on h4 in India so I understand I can't file for i485 until IAM back on usa soil.  My spouse has filed for i485 . Now my question is :

1) after me returning to USA ,after getting my h4 stamped at USA consulate in India ,  If the dates retrogress then I can't file for i485 as the PD would have changed . Can I still continue on my  h4 visa . My husband will retain his h1b . 

2) if still the PD won't get current , in mean time if my husband gets his EAD and then will I loose my status ? 

3) In order not to loose my status should my husband always  keep his H1B even after getting his EAD ? Is it possible to maintain H1 B after getting EAD ?

4) or next option , after getting his green card how soon he can sponsor for me ? For this again do we need to wait for the Priority dates to be current ?

3. H1B even after EAD is possible. Simply you will not move to EAD continue on H1B.

4. Getting GC takes long time. Filing Dates changed not final action dates.
