changing job within same employer

Hi,

I work for Employer A. I have an approved perm with my employer. My company filed for my i140 in May. I am waiting for the approval. right now, I have an opportunity in another team with in the same company. I can ask them to wait till my i140 gets approved. Thats not a problem. can I switch to another team as soon as I get my i140? Eventhough its within the same company, should I wait 180days after i140?

I have another question. My current role and desired role involves same technology but there might be some variation inmy job responsibility. should i file for perm again eventhough its within same employer and involves same technology?
