santoshgiridhar
Hi Team, Considering the current COVID19 situation, Is there any exception in terms of port-of-entry? Reason for asking, My H1B visa is expiring on June 30, 2020, and international aviation has suspended all flights with no specific date of commencing. Am I eligible to travel in June 1st week once the international flights resume? Do I need to considering anything in terms of port-of-entry? As per the USCIS rules, I need to be physically present in the US 90 days before my H1B visa expires to apply for my H1B extension? As I am stuck in India which is under lockdown and post lockdown there are no international flights to the US until June 2020. Please advise. Quote Link to comment
User099
Just carry proof that your job still exists. No rules have changed at POE. You don't need to be in US for 90 days to apply for H1 extension. Quote Link to comment
