But my h1 b is registered and picked through an other employer and I am not on his payroll right now. should I move to his payroll ASAP so that he can start the documentation and file the petition? Also what is the documentation my employer needs to submit in the package to get my h1 b approved. please help me Quote Link to comment

User099 Posted April 20, 2020 Report Share Posted April 20, 2020 It doesn't matter if you are working for him right now or not. He can still file for a H1 petition for you. But you need to start working for him from Oct 1st, if your petition is approved by then. Attorney and employer will ask for the documents what they need from you. Quote Link to comment
